Annie Mist Thorisdottir is from Reykjavik, Iceland. She is an Icelandic CrossFit professional athlete. She coaches and trains at Crossfit Reykjavik, where she is also co-owner. Being an avid sportsman and fitness enthusiast since an early age, she took part in various school games and won several medals. Annie began her CrossFit adventure in California in the year 2009. She performed quite well through the first couple of matches. She was among the top 10 of over 70. That same year, with Jami's coaching she won the silver medal in the CrossFit Games. Because of her impressive performance, she managed to claim her first CrossFit Games title and become the first female CrossFit Games winner. Annie won again her place in the CrossFit Games in 2012 due to her exceptional performance. It was her first time as a female athlete to be crowned the winner of the two CrossFit Games at once. Silver medals were awarded in the year 2014 and then in the year 2021 she received the Bronze award at CrossFit Games. Annie is a coach and trainer in Crossfit Reykjavik that she started. Annie's growing recognition as a professional athlete has seen her become the spokesperson for many sports brands, including Reebok Rogue Fitness Transparent Labs Rennaisance Nuunhydration and Periodization Sidekicks Yerb. The self-titled Youtube page boasts over 1,000 subscribers, where she posts videos of her family, travel and other topics along with training and diet plans.
