Melina Kanakaredes

Melina Kanakaredes (born May 25 of 1970) is an American actress best known for portraying the role of detective Stella Bonasera on CBS's police procedural drama CSI: NY, Dr. Sydney Hansen and Lane Hunter as well on NBC's Providence drama as well as The Resident's medical thriller The Resident. She also received high praise for her first television part on Guiding Light on CBS as Eleni Cooper. Some of her most notable films include 15 Minutes Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Lightning Thief and Snitch. The Wheel of Life by Elisabeth Kubler Ross, the writer of the Immortals film Immortals is being adapted for the large-screen. She will be working together with Vlas Parlapanides and Charley Parlapanides. Additionally, she's filming an upcoming show called Gods & Heroes.
